Why we assemble bikes in-house
Bicycles and e-bikes are shipped internationally in a partially disassembled state to save space and reduce damage risk. Rather than passing that box straight to a customer, PedalCraft builds every KONEX bike at our Amadora workshop, checking the frame, brakes, gearing and wheels before it goes out for delivery.
What our quality check covers
- Frame and fork alignment, and correct torque on all fasteners.
- Brake and gear cable tension, and disc brake alignment where fitted.
- Wheel truing and hub adjustment.
- A final visual inspection for paint, decal and component condition before packing.
For retailers and wholesale buyers
Shops ordering through our wholesale and retail service can also request bikes shipped in a lightly disassembled state suited to shop-floor final assembly, if that fits their workflow better than a fully built bike. Let us know what works for your shop when you place an order.
After the sale
Assembly quality is backed by the EU's statutory 2-year guarantee on all products, and our own repair and service capability for anything that needs adjustment after delivery.
